Nykaa Shopping - Innisfree Face mask

Hi Girls! Hope you all are doing good. Today I'm here with a newly launched brand in Nykaa. Yes! You guessed it right :) I'm talking about Innisfree. There was an offer in Nykaa for Innisfree Face masks which was Buy 5 Get 5 free and how can I miss that. As it is December the season of dry skin, I like to use Face masks to keep my face soft and glowy.

Innisfree is a Korean brand which claims to be the first natural brand in Korea. I have received the whole order in 4 different parcels. Here are the products which I received in my first three parcels:

1. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Cucumber
2. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Bija
3. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Manuka
4. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Rose
5. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Shea Butter
6. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Strawberry
7. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Aloe
8. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Black Berry
9. Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask- Cucumber

There was one more mask missing as I received only nine, after waiting for 3-4 days I wrote a mail to Nykaa and I got the response asking me which mask was missing and after providing all the details they told me yes there is one parcel waiting for delivery. I can always trust Nykaa in such situations because they believe in customer satisfaction and always respond to our queries be it mails or FB or Insta. I'm their regular customer and I'm using Nykaa since 2014 and never had a bad experience. Here is the other parcel with the below mentioned mask:

How to use product these masks:

• After cleansing, use toner to refine skin texture.
• Take out the mask from package and spread evenly over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area.
• Remove the sheet after 10-20 mins and gently pat to allow the remaining formula to absorb into the skin.

I haven't tried any of these masks yet, so let me know if you want me to review any of these masks. Innisfree masks are retailed for Rs 100 and I got it in offer, Buy 5 Get 5. So I got all 10 for Rs 500. I just cant wait to try these masks as Christmas and New year is around, I'm so excited.

Tinkle Razor

Hi Girls! There are days when we completely forget how bushy our eyebrows have grown. On days like that when it is an emergency and I have no time to tweeze or thread my brows, I simply shave them. Yes you got it right, I shave them!

I use Tinkle razor for eyebrow grooming, as well as for my upper and lower lip area which is really easy, not time consuming and also removes the dry skin. As you get used to it, grooming hardly takes 2-3 minutes.

Steps for beginners:

1. Outline your eyebrow using eyebrow pencil, so that you dont shave extra or spoil the shape of your brow. You may skip step 1 as you get used to it.

2. Apply some powder on the outline of the brow.

3. Take your razor and start shaving or remove the extra grown hair around the outline pencil in small strokes.

4. When satisfied, use a wet wipe to remove the eyebrow pencil mark and the powder.

5. With the help of a spoolie and brow scissors, trim of the excess.

6. To get rid of burning of the skin apply some coconut oil/aloe vera gel/ice cubes for cooling.

7. And Voila! You are done 👰

I'm using this Korean product from past 2 years now. I use each blade or handle for 4-5 times and throw it. Even after using it for more than 7 times, the razor was still sharp. One thing to take care is dont wash the razor with water, just clean it with coconut oil using a cotton ball. It claims to have a stainless safety cover, but it is always better to use a new blade.

You can easily find these razors in Indian websites Amazon or ebay which retails for Rs 140-150 (3 razors). I really hope this razor review was helpful for you girls. Please let me know your ways to shape your brows at home.

Nivea Skin Care Products

Hi guys. Its December, dull and itchy winter skin is back.

Cold weather can wreck havoc on our skin. Today I'm here with Nivea products for normal to dry skin. Nivea is the first brand which I used on my face and body. I'm using Nivea products from quite a long time now, here are my most trusted products.

1. Nivea Nourishing body lotion: 

Price: 315/-

Quantity: 400ml

This is a very rich and creamy lotion with Almond oil which softens the skin. I use this after coming back from work, as it is very creamy and oily it may easily attract dust. So I personally avoid using this at the day time.

2. Nivea creme:

Price: 150/-

Quantity: 100ml

This is a very thick creme, good for dry to very dry skin. As you all know, face wash will be too harsh on dry skin, so it is always good to apply Nivea creme 10-15 mins before washing your wash. I even apply this on my elbow, knees, heels, around the lips and nose before going to bed.

3. Nivea soft light moisturizer:

Price: 150/-

Quantity: 100ml

This is soft in texture and light weight cream. During winter I prefer using this as a primer on my face for the makeup, as my skin is dry it make makeup application easier and even absorbs really fast on my skin.

Mix this non-greasy cream with your favorite sunscream and apply to your hands & legs before stepping out of your house.

4. Nivea Refreshing Cleansing Milk:

Price: 159/-

Quantity: 125ml

After coming back from work I use Nivea cleansing milk as a face wash in winter which is very refreshing and gentle on my skin which removes all the makeup and dirt. Take little amount of liquid on finger tips and massage gently. Wash it properly, first I use towel/tissue to remove access water and wipe using wet wipes to remove all the grime from my face.

5. Nivea Shower Cream:
Price: 165/-

Quantity: 250ml

Using harsh soap/gel on skin will dry out skin even more, so I prefer using shower cream for winters which nourishes my skin and doesn't leave any white patch or dry skin. Pour required amount of cream on a loofah, massage gently all over your body and rinse thoroughly with water. I use Coconut or Shea butter creme depending on my mood that morning 😛

6. Nivea Deodorant whitening smooth skin:
Price: 175/-

Quantity: 50ml

I use Nivea deodorant every single day to maintain the freshness throughout the day and keep my underarms away from bad odour. This roll on is perfect I dont face any irritation or problems of dark underarms as I am using it regularly. The liquid is non-sticky and takes few seconds to dry and helps control sweat.

One more interesting thing about all Nivea products is that it smells awesome. These are all my Winter favorites which are easily available in India. Hello everyone! Today, in the midst of harsh winter winds I'm sharing my experience with two Chinese products: Face mask sheet & Black head pore strip.

Sheet Face Mask: BIOAQUA Chamomile Natural + Glycerine

Price: Rs 70

Timer: 20 mins

Claims:

 * Replenish moisture & nutrients
 * Repair & help improve dry, rough  skin
 * Lock moisture
 * Brightens the complexion

Steps I follow:

1. Cleanse your Face

2. Apply Toner

3. Read directions & Patch test by taking the liquid

4. Apply the mask evenly

5. Set the timer

6. Remove the mask & massage gently

7. Use clean damp cloth to clean your face

Review:

* Good refreshing face mask sheet, skin feels soft. 
* Yes it does maintain moisture, dry skin around the lip area & around the nose is removed.
* Next day morning skin was glowing and makeup application was pretty smooth.
* No irritation of skin.
* 70 Rupees for a mask, does a pretty good job.
* Yes, I'll definitely buy it again 👍

Black Head Pore Strip:

Price: Rs 140 (10 strips)
Timer: 30 mins

Steps I follow:

1. Steam

2. Apply Toner

3. Use Black/White head ring tool

4. Read the instructions and Apply the Cream

5. Set the timer

6. Gently peel the nose strip

7. Wipe with rose water

Review:
* Black creamy texture, spread evenly on the nose as a nose strip, wait for it to dry (30mins) and peel it off.
* Removes white heads and clean pores.

* Try on others and carefully observe while removing the layer, black heads are not removed but works well on white heads.

* One pack will be enough for 2 people.

* No irritation, no burning.

* Nose feels smooth to touch and even shiny.

* Yes I'll buy it again.
